Gordon Daugherty, Creative and Artistic Director at Eye Conz Art, was awarded a grant to study fine art at Pratt Institute. Gordon chose Pratt Institute in New York City because of the opportunity of living in a major cultural center. Gordon continued his studies at the Maryland Institute College of Art, the Corcoran School of Art and the Washington Studio School in Washington, D.C.  Other scholastic pursuits include photography, graphic design, art restoration and illustration techniques. 

Following his fine art training Gordon worked for a large firm specializing in murals, trompe l’oeil, and faux techniques.  This combination of intense academic fine art education and practical occupational training assures that Eye Conz Art clients experience a level of quality rare to companies in this field.

Artwork designed as architectural elements, especially in the case of murals, trompe l’oeil and even painted furniture often provides the creative link for a room that cannot be bridged in terms of ready made furniture, the limited range of paint colors and fabrics available commercially and the effects of lighting.  The products offered by Eye Conz Art are boundless in their ability to create a genuine sense of cohesiveness in addition to the “wow” factor that artwork as a focal point can illicit.
